CannItalk: Packaging your Cannabis Product, and Trade Show 101

  • San Diego Indoor Sports Club 3030 Front Street San Diego, CA, 92103 United States (map)

We are proud to have Terrence Michael Renk from American Flower and Booth Mom Candy Adams! Terrence Michael Renk has 34 years in the beauty Industry including an “EMMY” award win for hairstyling. Terrence’s Passion for the Cannabis Industry was launched 8 years ago in Santa Rosa, California as a grower and consumer. Packaging is the last message a consumer sees and a last chance to convince him to buy the product. Clarity, honesty, authenticity play an important rule in this process. With cannabis, the product should not only appeal to consumers aesthetically, it also needs to maintain freshness, flavor, and potency. The connection between the Beauty Industry and the Cannabis Industry launched Terrence into this new platform of creativity and consumer awareness. Terrence's background includes research and development experience including product performance, production and packaging, chemical and organic component knowledge detailing in the manufacturing of Cannabis by-products and aromatic compounds used in both hair and body cosmetics and inhalation and human consumption, including Stability, Consistency and Charting, MSDS, EU compliancy, labeling, California guidelines and regulations. Terrence also has extensive knowledge of distributor partners needs and strategies to promote and support brand. Candy Adams, CTSM, CEM, CMP, CMM, is a veteran freelance corporate exhibit project manager, dynamic exhibit management trainer and conference speaker, humorous exhibit staff trainer and seven-time award-winning columnist of “Exhibiting 101” in EXHIBITOR magazine. Her passion is helping rookie exhibitors cut their learning curve and teaching veteran exhibitors her tips and tricks to improve their show results while cutting their show costs. She was dubbed “The Booth Mom®” by her clients for managing all the trade show strategy and tactics they hate about exhibiting – and spoiling the labor crews and exhibit staff rotten with dozens of her famous homemade cookies while she did it! CannItalk gives members of the community a brand-neutral platform to speak on important topics related to the cannabis industry and continuing education on the applications of cannabis in healthcare and adult-use settings. Tickets are $10 at the door! Doors open at 6:30pm, the talks will start at 7:00pm. Networking will be available after the event.
